Many inhabitants in villages in the northern districts of Rajshahi, Dinajpur and Rangpur are extremely poor.  Government development has been minimal.  The Gospel South Asia Ministries, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Baptist Church Sangha, is building a hostel to provide a safe place for tribal and minority girls to improve their socio-economic status.  Donations are welcome for the Rangpur Baptist Girls' Hostel building project.
